- Choose Interdisciplinary Specialist if you are taking academics.

(minimum student enrollment req) Design and Media Specialist Firefighter I / EMT Health Information Technology Specialist Medical Administrative Assistant (MAA) Nurse Aid (CNA test) All non-core academics including certificate classes are calculated for Hall County on an honors 4.5 scale. Design & Media, Medical Admin Assistant and Nurse Aid are all approved for further money after high school graduation using the Hope Career Grant See: HOPE Career Grant LTC ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS!
See your counselor or IEC staff for more information! Currently, Lanier Tech is allowing admittance with a 2.6 GPA; test scores are optional. *LTC may change their acceptance requirements at any time. |

Note: Students completing any core academic course will receive credit for that course when transferring to another University System of Georgia Institution as well as on the student's high school transcript. All core academic classes will transfer to any University System of Georgia College! (See articulation document below.) |

NOTE: Unlike academic courses, the elective certificate courses are not guaranteed transfer credits to USG schools. It is up to the transferring college on acceptance, but these courses are weighted at the honors level for high school credit. They are also excellent programs to provide students with skills for full or part-time jobs in the future, help them determine career paths, and to gain knowledge in their future college studies.
When looking at courses and how they transfer to other University System of Georgia Institutions, go to that University and look at articulation agreements. ANY University System of Georgia Institution WILL transfer the credits from UNG but how the credit is counted or what class counts as the credit is up to the university. Here are the links for a few:
