NOTE:  The Hall County School District nor the Howard E. Ivester Early College representatives are liable for information regarding college credit acceptances to all post-secondary institutions. Each college/university major prescribes a specific program of coursework that DE courses may or may not meet. It is the responsibility of the scholar to check specific college entrance requirements and transfer-ability of coursework.

NOTE:  Unlike academic courses, the elective certificate courses are not guaranteed transfer credits to USG schools. It is up to the transferring college on acceptance, but these courses are weighted at the honors level for high school credit.  They are also excellent programs to provide students with skills for full or part-time jobs in the future, help them determine career paths, and to gain knowledge in their future college studies.

When looking at courses and how they transfer to other University System of Georgia Institutions, go to that University and look at articulation agreements.   ANY University System of Georgia Institution WILL transfer the credits from UNG but how the credit is counted or what class counts as the credit is up to the university.   Here are the links for a few:

UGA:  https://www1.admissions.uga.edu/transfer_equiv/TransferEquiv/Index

GA TECH: https://oscar.gatech.edu/  Then choose Articulation Equivalencies on far right.
