CAES - Ivester Rising scholars program-
a partnership with UGA's College of Agriculture and Environmental Science

Hall County Schools is excited to announce a unique partnership of the University of Georgia and Ivester Early College, through the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES): The CAES-Ivester Rising Scholars Program (CAES-IRSP). This program is ideal for high-achieving students with academic and career interests in the Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

This partnership will allow UGA to offer selected Hall County high school rising seniors an opportunity to enroll in and receive Dual Enrollment credit for CAES courses taken at UGA on the UGA Campus through Ivester Early College. Hall County Schools will provide transportation to and from Ivester Early College and the UGA campus for the designated courses.

Eligible rising high school seniors must complete the IRSP application (Part I) by March 15, 2023 for first round of acceptances. Applicants will be notified by April 15, 2023 of their status, and students who meet or exceed eligibility requirements will be selected to complete the UGA Dual Enrollment application (Part II).  SAT/ACT scores will be required for UGA consideration so plan accordingly.  Do not wait to take the qualifying tests.
