FUNDING:
ALL STUDENTS and their parents MUST complete the funding steps below to apply for DE funding EARLY in the summer term!
The process has recently changed.

If you have already completed your funding and it says "high school or post secondary pending", you are good.

Books, Computers and Parking:
LTC, BRENAU AND UNG students at IEC, IEC handles books (unless you are late registering) and laptop pick ups.
You DO NOT go to the Lanier Tech / UNG / BRENAU orientations or call their admissions advisors for classes. Everything is handled through IEC.

Laptops: Students requesting to use Hall County issued laptops for the semesters at Howard E Ivester Early College will be processed and issued once the appropriate form is brought to IEC filled out completely. Form will be sent over REMIND the first of August.
Parking: Limited parking is available. You must complete the orientation Canvas course for IEC before you may request parking.

- LTC: Please change your default LTC password during setup. If you need to reset your password due to issues. You will be required to put in a ticket. HERE

- If you are having LTC Blackboard errors, please try the following, Open Chrome or Firefox. Make sure you are not signed into the browser. If you are, sign out and then sign in as a guest. Open an incognito window. (inside Chrome, you can press CTRL Shift N) (inside Firefox, it is CTRL Shift P, for a privacy window) Then navigate to Bannerweb and log in again. Do not use stored credentials or the auto-fill option for your username and password. Be sure to manually type your student email address and password. (Blackboard will NOT show your classes until Monday, Aug 17) Email the LTC helpdesk directly if you still require help: [email protected]
- LTC: A self-guided online orientation module is available and may be completed at any time before the start of the semester. The online orientation module is found: https://www.laniertech.edu/new-student-orientation/
- LTC: BANNERWEB (student detail schedule and final grades)
BannerWeb is the online component where you may view your student detail schedule and view your final grades at the end of the semester. The login credentials are the same as your student email account.
To view your detail schedule, at LTC site, select Student Services and Financial Aid, then Registration, then Student Detail. If there is an issue contact IEC.

UNG: TO ACCESS your UNG EMAIL:
User name is the first part of your email (everything before the @ sign). The preset password before you change it is the last four digits of your social security number and the two digit day of your birth (ie: if your birthday is 09/30/1964, you would use 30). If you have difficulty with this part, call UNG helpline.

UNG ONLINE / ECORE students:
If you plan to take eCore (online) classes in the fall, please take the following introduction quiz ASAP. https://ecore.usg.edu/prospective/orientation.php
NEW UNG policy: DE Standards of Academic Progress rule: Maintain a 2.5 MOWR GPA and complete 67% of all attempted classes. (This means most of you cannot withdraw) All DE students who fall below a 2.0 overall GPA will be dismissed from the program. Students who earn a 2.0 to 2.49 overall GPA will have one semester to raise their overall GPA to a 2.5. Failure to earn an overall GPA of 2.5 will result in dismissal from the program. (This will not happen if you keep up with your work!)

- Complete Part One of both SAPU and AlcoholEdu (Course was under repair by UNG during August. Check back in Sept) - https://ung.edu/dean-of-students/health-and-safety/alcoholedu.php
- Submit Your Immunization Form - you may send a copy of your school immunization form (ask counseling secretary to help you) OR have your doctor fill out the one below OR have your doctor give you a copy of your immunizations. This is needed by end of August. https://ung.edu/dean-of-students/health-and-safety/immunization.php (Use Gainesville Campus options)
